Founder of Parental Alienation Coach and Counseling Today
Dr. Matthew Peloquin’s dedication to parental alienation coaching stems from both academic expertise and firsthand experience. He began his academic journey at the University of Massachusetts, earning dual Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Communications, along with a minor in Sociology. His early interest in human behavior, communication, and family dynamics laid the groundwork for his future work in parental alienation psychology.
After a successful career as a Fractional CMO in healthcare growth strategy, Matt returned to the mental health field, completing his PsyD in Counseling with a concentration in Men’s Counseling for Divorced Fathers. In addition to his doctoral studies, he has earned specialized diplomas in Parental Alienation and is set to complete a Master’s in Parental Alienation Studies in 2025.
A Focus on Fatherhood, Parental Alienation, and International Parenting Challenges
Matt’s work focuses on an often-overlooked area of mental health: the psychology of fatherhood, the impact of parental alienation, and the unique challenges faced by parents living abroad. Through coaching, advocacy, and education, he provides support to parents who are navigating high-conflict custody battles, custodial interference, and the psychological effects of alienation.
As a leading voice in the parental alienation support community, Matt founded Support Fathers Rights Inc., a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping fathers cope with alienation, legal struggles, and mental health challenges. He is also an active member of the Parental Alienation Study Group (PASG), collaborating with top experts in parental alienation research, men’s psychology, and high-conflict divorce to advance awareness and intervention strategies.
Parental Alienation Coaching at ParentalAlienation.coach
At ParentalAlienation.coach, Matt provides coaching and guidance for parents dealing with parental alienation, particularly fathers adjusting to divorce, limited contact with their children, and the emotional toll of being a “trapped parent”—those forced to live abroad to maintain a relationship with their children.
His approach focuses on:
✔️ Understanding Parental Alienation – Identifying key alienation tactics and their psychological impact
✔️ Emotional Coping Strategies – Managing grief, stress, and self-care in high-conflict parenting situations
✔️ Navigating Legal and Custody Challenges – Developing strategies to work effectively with attorneys and the court system
✔️ Rebuilding Parent-Child Relationships – Techniques for maintaining a healthy connection with alienated children
Asking for help is the hardest part. Receiving support shouldn’t be.
If you are struggling with parental alienation, custody interference, or the emotional distress of being separated from your child, you don’t have to go through it alone. Book a consultation today and take the first step toward reclaiming your role as a parent.
